Re-opening a CAPA

A voided or closed CAPA record can be re-opened. A user must have the appropriate rights to be able to re-open the CAPA record. The user can access the workspace options and CAPAs from the CAPA Coordinator dashboard or from the My Tasks dashboard.

  1. From the CAPA record, click Other Actions > Reopen CAPA.
  2. Enter a sign-off comment.
  1. Click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The Sign-off window is displayed.
  2. Enter your user ID and password and then click the Sign-off button.
    Result: The CAPA is now re-opened and the user’s signature and comments can be viewed in the Activity section of the record.

NOTE: All steps in the CAPA workflow will now have to be signed-off, however, all data previously entered stays intact.
